Creation of SERA
Over 40 years of experience working to the benefit of industrial operators in the food sector.
SERA initially operated from Chasselay in the Lyons region and later spread out to cover the entire geographic segment with agencies in Rennes, Saintes, Montluçon and Sens.
1998
1st ALTESOFT software application
The ALTESOFT software package is designed and published by SERA, and can be used by industrial operators to manage their production safely, and collect, centralise and process any information relating to the production system.
In addition to the “generic” version of the software, several versions of ALTESOFT now exist for different core businesses: Mill, Silo, Animal feed plant (UAB), Seeds.
2011
SERA joins the Gérard Perrier Industrie group
The core business of the GPI group: the design, production, installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, automation and instrumentation systems.
SERA is one of the 8 Group subsidiaries.
2020
Towards a digital transformation
